Sonlight - Science A - Time to grow beans! This is always a very exciting activity for any child. As we are following Sonlight, we have decided to grow beans their way as opposed to the way I learnt at school, which was in cotton wool on a side plate!
The girls did this on their own with small plastic beakers filled with a little water. They then placed a paper kitchen towel into the water. The paper towel sucks up the water which will keep the beans damp. They then dropped the beans half way down the beaker and the paper towel. This will allow them to see the entire germination process through the clear beaker!
